  • → Booking flights to Benidorm
  • → Benidorm Hen Party Hotels
  • → Benidorm Hen Party Villas
  • → Benidorm Hen Party Apartments
  • → What to do in Benidorm
  • → Benidorm Hen Weekend Packages

We’ve got a LOT of information for you in this Benidorm Hen Party Guide so let’s get started!

Where is Benidorm?

Let’s start with a bit of geography, where is Benidorm?

map of spain showing benidorm

Benidorm is situated on Spain’s Costa Brava which is on the south east coast of the Spanish mainland.

The great thing about Benidorm’s location is that due to its popularity with British holidaymakers, there are oodles of cheap flight options to choose from departing from airports all over the UK.

Is Benidorm Good for a Hen Party?

Babes, you don’t even need to ask whether Benidorm is a good place for a hen party, it TOTALLY is.

Just take a look at this suuuper long beach for starters.

benidorm beach view

Of course, it does depend a bit on what you want from a hen weekend, but if you’re after sun, beaches, dancing, cheap drinks and a lot of fun activities then Benidorm is a brilliant choice for your hen do.

Here are some great reasons to pick Benidorm for a hen weekend:

  • Benidorm has over 800 bars and clubs
  • It’s a super easy 2.5 hour flight from UK airports
  • Benidorm is cheap for a hen do
  • You can get reliable sunny weather most of the year

How to organise a Benidorm Hen Party

When it comes to starting to think about organising a hen party in Benidorm you’ve got two options.

You can either book a Benidorm hen weekend package where your travel, accommodation and activities are all booked together and organised by a tour operator.

Or you can put together a DIY hen weekend to Benidorm where you book your own flights, accommodation and make your own plans for what to do in Benidorm.

Both options have advantages and disadvantages, but we think that planning a hen weekend in Benidorm yourself is totally doable these days thanks to the internet and offers you much more flexibility in terms of activities and accommodation. It also often works out a bit cheaper because you’re not paying a middle man.

We’re going to start by going through all the steps you need to plan a DIY Benidorm hen weekend.

Further down this article we’ll also share the top Benidorm hen party package companies in case that’s more what you’re after.

Sound good, ladies?

Booking flights to Benidorm for a hen weekend

If you’ve chosen Benidorm for a hen party then you’ve made a good decision in terms of getting there, because it’s one of the easiest places to get to in mainland Europe from the UK.

When travelling to Benidorm, you actually fly into nearby Alicante airport, which is about a 40 minute taxi ride (€70-80) or 50 minute bus ride (€10 each).

When organising travel, the best way to find cheap flights is to use a flight search engine.

We always recommend using Omio* for this which is completely free and they’ll help you find options from all the different airlines for your chosen dates.

If you’re booking flights for a large group of hens then we recommend being super organised and gathering all their details (ahem, and payment) in advance.

To book flights for others you’ll need information such as their full name, date of birth, passport number etc.

We’ve created a handy free Google Sheet template for this that you can simply duplicate and share on your hen do Whatsapp group.

Each hen can then just fill in her details so you’ve got everything you need in one place for making the booking.

Important! Don’t forget to make a COPY of this google sheet and change the privacy settings to keep all your personal data safe!

Right, so flights are sorted, next let’s think about where you and the hens are going to stay for your hen weekend in Benidorm.

In terms of hen do accommodation in Benidorm you’ve got three main options: hotel, villa or apartment.
